DESCRIPTION:You are invited to attend the Heaths to Sea Public Forum at Bicton College EaRTH Building on Thursday\, 17th July. \nTALKS & Q&A PANEL – afternoon and evening sessions \nPLEASE REGISTER HERE – the talk/Q&A sessions are free to attend\, but we would appreciate it if you could register so we can know the numbers attending. \nAt 1 pm to 2:15 pm and repeated at 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm\, there will be a series of targeted short talks and a panel Q&A session to answer your questions. \nThe short talks will include Heaths to Sea draft proposed plans \, Current and potential future state of nature in the lower Otter Valley\, and Importance and impact of water in the landscape. This will be followed by a Q&A session with the panel of speakers. \n  \nEXHIBITION – open from 12pm to 8pm \nYou are invited to attend our public exhibition at any point throughout the day. The exhibition will share draft high-level plans for 20+ years of land management activity to encourage nature recovery across the diverse landscape of the lower Otter Valley. \nYou are welcome to drop in at any point during the exhibition\, read about our plans\, and have your questions answered by the landscape recovery team and expert ecological\, hydrological\, and heritage consultants. The exhibition will include information on: \n\nCurrent and proposed types and extent of habitats in the project area\nKey species and why they are important\nImpact of climate change and how the project will help mitigate this\nImportance of enhancing how the land supports productivity through farming and public amenity\nHow the project should benefit the Pebblebed Heaths and Otter Estuary National Nature Reserve\nHow the project actions will be monitored and evaluated to understand improvements to nature\nHow the public can be involved\n\n  \nGENERAL INFORMATION \nRefreshments will be provided throughout the afternoon and evening. \nIf travelling by car\, there is car parking at the venue.
